Engineering Manager (FE) - Video Storyline (Remote ANZ)

This role is based in Brisbane, QLD, Australia with remote work options available.

What you'll do:

• Lead and grow a high-performing frontend team focused on AI-powered video editing.
• Deliver intuitive new editing surfaces that simplify complex creative tasks.
• Build expressive tools for sequencing, timing, and audio/visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to explore new interaction patterns.
• Define and own the frontend technical roadmap.
• Champion frontend excellence — performance, responsiveness, and usability.

You're probably a match if:

• You have a strong frontend background (TypeScript is our bread and butter) and experience building rich, interactive tools.
• You've worked on creative tools — ideally in video, gaming, audio, or similar interactive media.
• You understand the unique demands of building for mobile and large-screen experiences.
• You’re product-minded and passionate about helping people create.
• You’ve coached and developed engineers and love seeing your team thrive.
