Engineering Manager (FE) - Learning Experience (Remote ANZ)

This role is based in Melbourne, Australia with remote work options available.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead a motivated frontend engineering team focused on building AI-generated learning content and a new learning library.
• Help design and deliver intuitive, scalable user experiences for learners and educators.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and data partners to shape meaningful solutions.
• Drive technical strategy and lead team rituals like planning, retros, and reviews.
• Coach and mentor engineers through regular feedback and career growth conversations.
• Actively contribute to feature development in a hands-on leadership role.

What you bring to the role:

• Strong experience in frontend engineering (ideally in TypeScript/React or similar).
• Prior leadership experience coaching engineers and managing high-performing teams.
• Experience in the learning or ed-tech sector is a big plus.
• Comfort getting hands-on with code when needed to support the team.
