About the Role:
Manage a team of ~7 engineers to improve the performance of the Canva editor.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor engineers while developing team capabilities.
- Work with technical leads to solve complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with Product Manager on the product roadmap.
- Drive planning and alignment of seasonal goals.
- Foster collaboration and advocate for engineering needs.
- Oversee delivery of large initiatives from ideation to completion.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in technical leadership or mentorship.
- Commercial software development experience, especially in frameworks or APIs.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, MobX.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
