Engineering Manager - Elements Experience

This role is based in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of frontend, backend, and ML engineers to deliver AI-powered content features.
• Set the technical vision for user content discovery and application.
• Partner with Product, Design, and platform teams, contributing to architectural decisions.
• Use metrics and experimentation to drive decisions and define success measures.
• Maintain high reliability and performance standards across services.
• Support and grow a high-performing team of ~7 engineers.

Requirements:

• Experience leading engineering teams across multiple disciplines.
• Strong metrics-minded approach and curiosity about user behavior.
• Ability to set strategic direction while being hands-on in code.
• Strong product sensibility and operational excellence.
