What you’ll do:
- Coaching and growing a high-performing team of engineers
- Driving technical excellence in the APIs that power Canva’s editor
- Partnering with stakeholders across product, engineering, and design
- Shaping the roadmap and future strategy for Editing APIs
- Leading the delivery of cross-cutting initiatives
- Championing scalable, safe, and performant systems
Requirements:
- Experience leading technical teams
- Familiarity with APIs, frameworks, or developer platforms
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, MobX
- Strong collaboration skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance priorities
