Engineering Manager - Content Machine Learning

This role is based in Brisbane, QLD, Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of Machine Learning Engineers focused on automating content review and moderation.
• Set and execute the technical vision and strategy for ML-driven safety, quality, and policy enforcement.
• Design and scale robust ML systems including experimentation frameworks and monitoring.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Product, and Review Engineering teams.
• Drive large, end-to-end initiatives from problem framing to impact measurement.
• Coach and mentor engineers to navigate complex technical challenges.
• Champion operational excellence and responsible AI.

Requirements:

• Experience in leading an engineering team in a Product or SaaS environment, ideally within ML or applied AI domains.
• Passionate about coaching and developing engineers.
• Experience in designing systems at scale with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Prior experience in text, image, video, and audio understanding is highly desirable.
