Engineering Manager (BE/ML) - AI Help Platform

This role is based in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Coaching and mentoring a high-performing engineering team.
• Leading technical strategy and roadmap planning for the Help AI Platform.
• Building scalable backend systems and orchestration workflows.
• Driving operational excellence across AI-powered support capabilities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance AI capabilities.

Requirements:

• Experience leading backend, platform, or AI/ML engineering teams.
• Strong technical depth in backend systems and distributed architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Experience with AI platforms or conversational AI is highly regarded.
