Engineering Manager

This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

• Directly manage Engineers and/or Machine Learning Scientists/Engineers in multiple teams.
• Lead by example, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee technical incident management and software application integration.
• Define and deliver product roadmaps in partnership with Product teams.

Requirements:

• Experience in software development with proficiency in Java or Objective-C.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in a management role.
• Deep knowledge of the Java ecosystem and experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce fraud threats and the Booking.com Payments ecosystem.
