$198,300 - $298,100/year

Summary:

As a FileMaker Technical Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for architecting and delivering mission-critical database solutions that directly impact our clients' success.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Server teams to translate business requirements into database architectures.
  • Own schema design, data models, and pipeline architectures.
  • Ensure architectural decisions balance performance, scalability, cost, and maintainability.
  • Drive high-precision implementation and enforce rigorous standards.
  • Plan and execute database initiatives with clear milestones and success criteria.
  • Lead performance tuning and ensure systems meet SLAs.
  • Establish best practices for database development and mentor engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in database or data engineering roles.
  • 2+ years leading technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with FileMaker platform.
  • Experience with modern cloud platforms.
