Compensation:

$205,200 - $308,400 per year

Summary:

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will own the development of core edge proxy software, leading a team of systems software engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide technical discussions on concurrency models, memory allocation, and protocol implementation.
  • Review code and architecture, mentor engineers, and lead production deployments.
  • Oversee operational support for the data plane, addressing performance and stability issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years in software engineering management.
  • 7+ years in systems software engineering.
  • Expertise in Rust and/or C++.
  • Experience with high-performance networking software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with open-source proxies like Envoy or NGINX.
  • Knowledge of modern proxy data planes and performance analysis.
