Software Engineering Manager, Object Store

This role is based in Seattle, Washington.

Compensation:

$188,200 - $325,500/year

Responsibilities:

• Build, scale, and grow a team of engineers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver the vision and strategy for the ASE Object Store.
• Prioritize, plan, and deliver features from inception to production deployment.
• Impact hundreds of millions of users with critical Apple features.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Experience hiring technical talent and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to lead across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years as a software engineering manager.
• Experience with distributed databases or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience in building reliable platform systems for high-scale workloads.
