Software Engineering Manager - Kafka

This role is based in London, England, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

Manage an established team responsible for building and contributing to the core Apache Kafka infrastructure. Oversee technical execution and maintain engineering standards.

Requirements:

• Comprehensive experience in software development, particularly with distributed systems or messaging platforms.
• Technical leadership experience overseeing complex projects and multiple engineers.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or other languages used in Kafka development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of Kafka broker internals and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects, ideally Apache Kafka.
