Software Engineering Manager - Apple Ads

This role is based in Hyderabad, India.

Responsibilities:

• Guide a team of engineers responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining low-latency, high-volume ad delivery systems.
• Set and manage the strategic direction, goals, and vision for the engineering team.
• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of highly scalable, distributed systems using Java, Scala, or C++.
• Mentor individual team members, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Deliver and operate efficient data pipelines and apply machine learning techniques to enhance ad targeting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 12+ years of industry experience in designing and delivering complex platforms.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Experience managing and mentoring software engineers.
• Hands-on experience in Java, Scala, or C++.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark/Kafka/Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in Computer Science preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Prior experience in AI/ML/Data Sciences is a plus.
