Responsibilities:
Build and operate Apple-scale Kafka deployments, contribute to Kafka internals including brokers, client libraries, and fault tolerance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in software development with a focus on distributed systems or messaging platforms.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or other languages used in Kafka development.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Kafka broker internals and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with multi-datacenter deployments and open-source contributions.
