Software Engineer, iCloud Platform

This role is based in London, England, United Kingdom.

What you'll do:

• Develop and enhance key components of systems enabling new applications and experiences for millions of users.
• Collaborate with Privacy and Security teams to ensure strong privacy guarantees.
• Work on distributed systems and scalable services, focusing on CI/CD, observability, and proactive issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop groundbreaking architecture with cross-functional teams.
• Clarify requirements and adapt to fast-paced product development cycles.
• Provide second-level support when necessary and contribute to building reliable services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Foundation in Computer Science fundamentals.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages, preferably Swift.
• Experience in building reliable services at scale.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing projects from design through delivery.
• Understanding of security techniques and technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment methods and observability.
