Site Reliability Engineer, Physical Infrastructure

This role is based in Cupertino, California.

Compensation:

$172,100 - $258,600/year

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable systems for core infrastructure services.
  • Develop automation tools to reduce operational toil and resolve production issues.
  • Own incident management processes to ensure high availability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to create functional, high-quality solutions.
  • Identify and eliminate technical debt to enhance reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Admin.
  • Strong software development skills in Swift, Go, or Python, and shell scripting (Bash).
  • Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and observability tools.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems administration.
  • Proven experience leading initiatives to reduce technical debt.
  • Expertise in performance analysis and capacity planning.
