As an Engineering Manager in the Special Projects group, you will have an opportunity to be part of an innovation-focused organization within Apple that is exploring the overlapping space around Simulation and AI/ML. You will be able to work on ambitious, high-reward, and impactful projects in the early stages of development. This team has a strong focus on shipping simulations in service of AI/ML projects. We use both traditional and generative AI techniques and we are looking for ways to adopt the best new techniques while making best use of long-standing ones. Our ideal engineering leader is fearless when it comes to trying new things and is willing to iterate on ideas. We value team members who can quickly prototype, and also iterate and polish all the way to high-quality implementations. Moreover, we value leaders who can foster collaboration within their team and with cross-functional groups.
