What you'll do:
Develop and operate a highly reliable cloud relational database service. Contribute to PostgreSQL components including query execution, storage, replication, and high-availability.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Database Engineering and SRE teams.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Engage with internal customers with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or related fields with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Rust.
- Experience developing database systems and distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Computer Science or related fields with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in code performance and optimization.
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel development.
