This role is based in Cupertino, California.

Compensation:

$181,100 - $318,400 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement intelligence capabilities for future Apple features.
  • Modify backend infrastructure using containers and cloud-native technologies.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and build evaluation systems.
  • Implement Python and Apple-native tooling to support the team.
  • Create scalable architectures for AI data orchestration.
  • Build tools for observability and debugging of AI systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in modern languages like Go, TypeScript, or Swift.
  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Experience with VM & Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience building web services and full stack applications.
  • Collaboration skills with small and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI systems from research to production.
  • Building large-scale ML evaluation systems.
  • Experience writing Swift applications on client and server.
