Senior Data Engineer

This role is based in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Engineer efficient, adaptable and scalable data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
- Own and evolve datasets for security posture.
- Build data solutions that integrate with existing systems.
- Produce quality software that meets service level objectives.
- Participate in code and security reviews.
- Research and present ideas and designs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Spark and distributed data technologies (Hadoop, Presto, etc.).
- Proficient in Java, Python, or Scala.
- Strong SQL skills and expertise in Data Principles and Architecture.
- Familiar with AWS cloud resources.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.
- Understanding of network operations and the OSI model.
- Experience with stream-processing applications and NoSQL datastores.
