This role is based in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer efficient, adaptable and scalable data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
  • Own and evolve datasets for security posture.
  • Build data solutions that integrate with existing systems.
  • Produce quality software that meets service level objectives.
  • Participate in code and security reviews.
  • Research and present ideas and designs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Spark and distributed data technologies (Hadoop, Presto, etc.).
  • Proficient in Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Strong SQL skills and expertise in Data Principles and Architecture.
  • Familiar with AWS cloud resources.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of network operations and the OSI model.
  • Experience with stream-processing applications and NoSQL datastores.
