Senior Backend Engineer, Retail Interactive Technology

This role is based in London, England, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Retail Operations.
• Take ownership of service reliability and performance in production.
• Lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (Python, Go, Ruby).
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity in PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Proven ability to design and deploy scalable backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and data warehousing.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
