This role is based in Grenoble, France.

Responsibilities:

  • Devise, model, design, implement, and characterize pixels and optical detectors for specific applications.
  • Development and validation of sensor specifications to engage with internal and external partners.
  • Collaborate with global image sensor suppliers to develop new image sensors.
  • Develop and implement new characterization methods and equipment.
  • Document and present results to engineering teams.
  • Ensure sufficient testing is implemented to guarantee performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to develop next generation imaging products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Must return to school after the internship or it must be the last requirement for graduation.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
  • Programming skills for software/firmware development.
  • Experience in model-based design with advanced math skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Background in solid-state electronic devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electro-optical characterization of imaging solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in optical device simulation (TCAD).
  • Familiarity with image sensor technology and integration into camera systems.
