Pixel Development Intern

This role is based in Grenoble, France.
Responsibilities:
- Devise, model, design, implement, and characterize pixels and optical detectors for specific applications.
- Development and validation of sensor specifications to engage with internal and external partners.
- Collaborate with global image sensor suppliers to develop new image sensors.
- Develop and implement new characterization methods and equipment.
- Document and present results to engineering teams.
- Ensure sufficient testing is implemented to guarantee performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration to develop next generation imaging products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Must return to school after the internship or it must be the last requirement for graduation.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Programming skills for software/firmware development.
- Experience in model-based design with advanced math skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Background in solid-state electronic devices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in electro-optical characterization of imaging solutions.
- Hands-on experience in optical device simulation (TCAD).
- Familiarity with image sensor technology and integration into camera systems.
