Optical Metrology Engineer (Yokohama Technology Center)

This role is based in Yokohama, Kanagawa-ken, Japan.

Responsibilities:

Develop optical metrology and lens metrology systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform hands-on work with optical metrology equipment, and analyze optical element impacts on image quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in optical metrology instruments.
• 3+ years in optical measurement methodologies.
• 3+ years using CAD software for 3D modeling.
• Effective communication in Japanese and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of optical metrology principles.
• Experience with scientific computing languages (e.g., Python, Matlab).
• Experience in measurement data analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing and testing optical components.
