Internship - Privacy Preserving Software Engineer

This internship is based in Cambridge, England.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement features to learn insights while preserving user privacy. Build modular and well-tested code for privacy-preserving algorithms. Contribute to prototypes and internal tools, and provide feedback on designs and code.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing a PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or a related field.
• Strong object-oriented software design skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Swift, C++).
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with privacy-preserving technologies such as differential privacy or federated learning.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Interest in developing practical, scalable solutions.
