Internship - Machine Learning (Foundation Models)

This internship is based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop novel approaches for improving foundation model capabilities.
• Leverage large-scale RL methods to enhance reasoning, planning, and agentic capabilities.
• Design and train agents for task completion.
• Investigate multimodal foundation models across various modalities.
• Collaborate on model alignment and responsible AI practices.
• Contribute to tools and frameworks for model experimentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD student in Machine Learning or related fields.
• Strong background in Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning.
• Experience with training methodologies for large models.
• Proficient in Python, PyTorch, and JAX.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to drive ambitious research independently.
