Facilities Engineer

This role is based in Munich, Bavaria-Bayern, Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day facility operations, proactively addressing technical issues (e.g., MEP systems).
• Report on operations compliance and governance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Support Facility Managers with unplanned requests and projects.
• Liaise with internal business units and external service providers.
• Manage Landlords' and Vendors' requests.
• Conduct Facilities contract reviews.
• Respond to inquiries regarding site services.
• Maintain Places tools, procedures, records, and policies.
• Identify and develop opportunities for continuous operations improvement.
• Ensure all maintenance is completed according to the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.
• Lead value engineering initiatives for MEP systems.
• Work independently and thoroughly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in managing technical lab infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of the German market and local regulations.
• Proven experience leading external technical resources.
• Experience handling small-scale refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Fluency in both German and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in maintaining critical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in iOS/MacOS environment and MS Office suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
