Engineering Manager, Shield

This role is based in Sunnyvale, California.

Compensation:

$228,100 - $342,800/year

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Drive the technical vision and roadmap for the admin plane platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure operational excellence through monitoring and continuous improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with ~5 years in management.
• Strong understanding of proxy architectures and security principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Programming experience in Java/J2EE, Python, Go, and scripting languages.
• Experience with public cloud platforms: GCP, AWS.
• Knowledge of micro-services and containerization technologies.
