Compensation:

$228,100 - $393,800/year

Summary:

The Core OS team is looking for an exceptional engineering manager to lead a team focused on panic triage and developer tools that enable Apple’s operating systems to achieve world-class reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Panic triage & tools team and develop a strong team of senior systems engineers.
  • Define and drive the vision and execution strategy for the platform.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Drive engineering quality, scalability, and reliability for the platform.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems software, with 2+ years in technical leadership.
  • Strong technical depth in operating system internals.
  • Proficiency in tool development using Python, Swift, C/C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with crash reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with kernel instrumentation or CPU tracing technologies.
