Engineering Manager, Maps Search Intelligence

Compensation:

$228,100 - $393,800 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and production deployment of Maps Search features.
  • Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for the Search Intelligence team.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and platform teams across Apple.
  • Influence product strategy and translate engineering capabilities into roadmap decisions.
  • Establish and manage a quality program for new Search features.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MS in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years managing engineering teams.
  • Expertise in generative AI and LLMs.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with large-scale GenAI and NLP solutions.
  • Background delivering consumer-facing features at global scale.
