This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States.
Compensation:
$228,100 - $342,800 per year
Responsibilities:
- Lead, hire, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
- Own and deliver end-to-end systems, from requirements through launch.
- Apply Generative AI to improve engineering productivity and development workflows.
- Build systems at scale and use data to drive engineering decisions.
- Drive test strategy and automation at scale.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years in an engineering management role.
- Experience programming in macOS or iOS ecosystems (Swift/Objective-C).
- Experience with computer architecture and hardware/software interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with macOS or iOS system architecture.
- Knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, and SoCs.
- Experience with field diagnostics, manufacturing, or repair workflows.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
