Embedded Software Engineer - Cellular Layer 1 Control

This role is based in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and verify Cellular Layer 1 control software/firmware for a 5G/6G mobile wireless communications system.
- Develop key scheduling and control algorithms, optimizing code for cycle, latency, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with global teams to optimize solutions.
- Define interfaces with RF, physical layer, MAC/RRC, and other required subsystems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences or related major.
- Understanding of software engineering principles and core computer science fundamentals.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and strong analysis/debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience in wireless/cellular software or firmware development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master/PhD degree in relevant fields.
- Knowledge of 3GPP 5G/4G Layer 1 Control.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
