Data Engineer, Data Solutions & Initiatives

This role is based in Singapore, working within the Machine Learning and AI team.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and operate scalable, cloud-native data pipelines and services. Implement data mesh principles and ensure high-quality data products.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data pipelines and distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Expert-level SQL and experience with modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Proven experience with streaming and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Airflow).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and CI/CD automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of data quality and observability in distributed environments.
• Experience with data catalogs and governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with open table formats and lakehouse architectures.
