Cellular Software Engineer

This role is based in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design & document cellular L3 & L1 control software architecture
  • Drive requirements, design, development and commercialization throughout the product life cycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the right balance of power and performance
  • Assess iOS/watchOS features and identify the impact of 3GPP control plane features
  • Review and propose innovative updates to cellular standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong Software Engineering skills including design, programming (C, C++), and scripting (Python preferred)
  • Good understanding of Embedded Systems concepts
  • Experience in developing test specifications and analyzing related defects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of wireless/internet standards, including 3GPP 5G-NR and LTE RRC & L1C protocols
  • Experience with AI/ML solutions in a production environment
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
