Camera Software (Intern)

This internship is based in Cambridge, England, and involves working with the Camera Software team to enhance the image quality of Apple's cameras.

Responsibilities:

Investigate the intersection of software development and machine learning for high-reliability software. Identify and deliver a project related to image quality and camera software frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong software development experience, preferably in Objective C, C++, or equivalents
• Understanding of digital camera inner workings and Image Signal Processor (ISP)
• Experience with machine learning algorithms
• Knowledge of Python and ML libraries (Tensorflow, Pytorch)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with imaging algorithms (e.g., auto white balance, tone mapping)
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program with plans to return after the internship
