This role is based in Munich, Bavaria-Bayern, Germany.

Responsibilities:

Support investigations of advanced circuit architectures or design methodologies and benchmark them against existing solutions. Gain insight into industry-standard IC design tools and methodologies, and experience in analog design in advanced CMOS technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of transistor level design
  • Knowledge of schematic design and validation methodology using Cadence Virtuoso
  • Solid understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, filters, bandgap references, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, OpAmps, comparators and switched-cap circuits
  • Deep knowledge of analog/mixed-signal design techniques such as small-signal analysis, feedback loop theory and noise analysis
  • Deep knowledge of analog/mixed-signal concepts such as stability, linearity, mismatch mitigation, low-power and low-noise techniques
  • Experience with Matlab or Python is a plus
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD degree program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
