AI Engineer Intern

This role is based in Cork, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement analytics solutions using Large Language Models for hardware engineering insights.
• Develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations to enhance AI model capabilities with domain-specific context.
• Build intelligent data processing pipelines for pattern recognition and anomaly detection.
• Create conversational interfaces for hardware engineers to interact with complex datasets.
• Architect and build scalable backend systems to support LLM-powered analytics workflows.
• Implement robust APIs for model inference, data ingestion, and result delivery.
• Design efficient data storage and retrieval systems optimized for large-scale hardware telemetry.
• Develop real-time processing capabilities for continuous hardware monitoring and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Swift.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar).
• Understanding of backend development principles and RESTful API design.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Large Language Models (training, fine-tuning, or deployment).
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI integration frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in data analytics, statistical analysis, or hardware engineering.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and high-performance computing.
• Understanding of AI safety and responsible AI practices.
