Active Alignment Algorithm Engineer

This role is based in Singapore and involves close collaboration with external vendors and internal teams to deliver active alignment solutions for optical modules.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in cross-functional discussions for active alignment and testing of photonics products.
• Derive evaluation plans for characterizing optical components.
• Develop algorithms to support evaluation activities.
• Setup and calibrate test solution hardware and software.
• Provide signal/image processing services to other teams.
• Analyze data using statistical tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Engineering, Optics, Physics or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in developing algorithms for signal/image processing in optical manufacturing.
• Experience with MATLAB for algorithm development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed to operate lasers (e.g., Singapore NEA N3 license).
• Expertise in optics attach processes or optical functionality testing.
