This role exists to change how we allocate compute by addressing allocation and causal-inference problems. You will build metrics and analytical frameworks to improve decision-making and work closely with infrastructure teams.
- Build and run testing frameworks to quantify compute allocation outcomes
- Connect compute allocation decisions to downstream user outcomes
- Partner with infrastructure engineers and product teams
- Develop metrics and dashboards for shared understanding
- Contribute analyses to executive forums
- Strong background in data science, analytics, or operations research
- Experience with resource allocation and trade-offs
- Fluency with causal inference
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Experience working with engineering teams on production systems
- Experience in data science or operations research at a staff level
- Hands-on experience with complex systems
- Experience with real-time constrained-allocation problems
- Exposure to AI/ML products
The annual compensation range for this role is $285,000 — $460,000 USD.
