Responsibilities:

Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025, collaborate with global AWS teams, and enhance AWS services. Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents and ensure high availability.

Basic Qualifications:

National of an EU member state
Expertise in systems engineering with hardware, software, and networking
Experience in scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby)
Solid understanding of Linux and networking

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with monitoring frameworks (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
Mentoring junior engineers and leading team efforts
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, etc.)
