Together, they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.Amazon Web Services is seeking a bilingual (English/French) Solutions Architect to join the Agentic WorkSpaces team in Toronto, Canada. This role requires a professional operating at the intersection of enterprise desktop infrastructure and applied AI—with a primary, clearly defined depth in Agentic WorkSpaces platform architecture (60%), complemented by advisory-level proficiency in applied AI and Large Language Model (LLM) deployment patterns (40%).The primary mandate is mastery of the Agentic WorkSpaces platform. You will architect, deploy, and optimize Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) solutions using Amazon WorkSpaces Personal and Core, as well as Amazon WorkSpaces Applications (formerly AppStream 2.0). You will ensure production readiness for enterprise customers, covering network design, identity federation, image management, directory services, protocol optimization, and operational health. This requires "Level 300" depth—you are the definitive technical authority customers rely on to move from assessment to large-scale production.The secondary mandate is applied AI consulting. You will guide customers through the agentic AI capabilities integrated into Agentic WorkSpaces—including AI agent configuration, foundation model selection via Amazon Bedrock, prompt engineering, tool integration via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and agent-to-agent (A2A) communication patterns. You will evaluate LLM performance, design agent evaluation frameworks, and advise on deployment models for production AI workloads. This role requires a "200+" level of technical depth—sufficient to lead customer conversations, conduct hands-on demonstrations, and identify when to engage deeper AI engineering resources.Canada represents a strategic growth market for Agentic WorkSpaces. Federal, provincial, and regulated-sector clients (financial services, healthcare, public sector) require native-level French engagement for procurement, compliance documentation, and day-to-day technical consulting. This role directly serves Canadian public sector and enterprise clients, leading discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and production readiness assessments in both English and French. Toronto offers geographic proximity to Canada's largest concentration of businesses while providing access to bilingual talent.Availability to travel up to 25%–50% of the time for on-site customer engagements across Canada.
