Sr. Software Development Engineer, OISL SW Development

This role is based in Redmond, WA, focusing on software development for Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network.

Compensation:

$151,300 - $261,500/year

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development life-cycle including design, development, testing, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for integration and testing.
• Develop automated test frameworks to ensure product quality.
• Create technical documentation for software specifications and processes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for software releases.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in programming with at least one language.
• Experience in leading design or architecture of systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, Go, Rust, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
