Sr Software Development Engineer, Amazon Business, Buy Journey

This role is based in Madrid, Spain.

Responsibilities:

- Design and modify scalable software architecture of full stack systems.

- Deliver personalized experiences that require machine learning and data engineering skills.

- Work independently to deliver and maintain features.

- Apply software engineering best practices throughout the development life cycle.

- Engage in continuous prioritization to balance fast-paced business requirements with long-term technical investments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience as a mentor or tech lead.
• Experience leading architecture and design of systems.
• Professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#.
• Development experience in the last 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle.
