Sr. Lab Software Engineer, Control & Calibration, AWS Center for Quantum Computing

This role is based in Pasadena, CA.

Compensation:

$151,300 - $261,500/year

Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate telemetry systems for real-time monitoring of laboratory software and hardware.
• Ensure availability and consistency of server-level and instrument-level logs, metrics, and traces.
• Partner with science teams to build visualizations from observability data.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code for continuous deployment of software improvements.
• Mentor others to contribute to the codebase.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with full-stack web development and observability tools.
• Experience in a research environment is preferred.

Tech stack:

JavaScript, React, AWS tools, infrastructure-as-code.
