Solutions Architect, Retail & CPG, AWS

This role is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Promote AWS value and provide architectural support to major retail and consumer goods companies.
• Build relationships with senior leaders and identify new technical opportunities.
• Design customer solutions and advise on trade-offs.
• Transform solutions into reusable artifacts for other architects.
• Contribute to AWS platform improvements based on customer feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

• Fluency in Japanese and Business level English.
• 10+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience.
• 3+ years of cloud-based solution experience.
• Experience with AI systems and CI/CD.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with emerging technologies and migrating legacy solutions to the cloud.
• Background in e-commerce, digital marketing, or customer service delivery.
