Software Engineering Manager, ML Kernel Performance, AWS Neuron, Annapurna Labs

This role is based in Cupertino, CA, where you will manage a team focused on high-performance kernel development for machine learning operations.

Compensation:

$166,400 - $287,700/year

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-performance compute kernels for ML operations.
• Analyze and optimize kernel-level performance across multiple generations of Neuron hardware.
• Work directly with customers to enable and optimize their ML models on AWS accelerators.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of experience within engineering teams.
• 8+ years of experience in developing multi-tier web services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, and mentoring software engineers.
• Strong communication skills with technical teams and senior leadership.
