Software Engineering Manager, Control Stack, AWS Center for Quantum Computing

This role is based in Pasadena, CA.

Compensation:

$166,400 - $287,700/year

Responsibilities:

• Develop a technical vision for the quantum software-hardware interface.
• Collaborate with science and hardware teams to derive software needs.
• Manage resource allocation and planning for the team.
• Provide technical evaluation and feedback to team members.
• Drive hiring activities and develop growth plans for the team.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Proven track record of collaborating with scientists and/or hardware engineers.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with quantum control systems or RFSoC development platforms.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and software telemetry systems.
