Responsibilities:

Drive the development of systems that enable sellers to leverage Amazon's fulfillment capabilities. Hiring and developing the best talent, and creating an environment which motivates people to thrive in their expertise and deliver results. Define and constantly monitor metrics to improve performance and reduce cost. Prepare executive level communications to share tactical plans, estimates, justify investment, and highlight product performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  • 7+ years of engineering experience
  • Knowledge of engineering practices for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in communicating with users and senior leadership
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing teams of Software Engineers
