Software Development Engineer, Amazon Business

This role is based in Madrid, Spain.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a deep understanding of ordering, accounting, and payments technical platforms.

- Design and modify scalable software architecture of full stack systems.

- Work independently to deliver and maintain medium-sized features.

- Apply software engineering best practices throughout the development life cycle.

- Collaborate with teammates and drive improvements in code quality and process efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience building complex software systems delivered to customers.
• Experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling of systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, C++, or C#).
• Familiarity with the full software development life cycle.
• English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Interest in Distributed Systems, Microservices, and AWS technologies.
• Experience with generative AI solutions in dynamic environments.
