Site Reliability Engineering Manager, Managed Operations

This role is based in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025.
• Collaborate with global teams to enhance AWS services and technology.
• Manage teams in systems operations and development, emphasizing automation and engineering efficiency.
• Analyze systems performance and implement strategies for improvement.
• Conduct regular reviews of key performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience in systems engineering and operations leadership.
• Experience managing software development teams.
• Hands-on experience in systems engineering and administrative work.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Agile engineering practices.
• Experience with AWS platforms and services.
