Security Engineering Manager - Incident Response, AWS

This role is based in Seattle, WA.

Compensation:

$175,100 - $236,900/year

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a team of security engineers.
• Drive operational excellence in incident management processes.
• Partner with service teams across AWS to prioritize and remediate security issues.
• Develop strategic initiatives to improve security response capabilities.
• Mentor and develop future security leaders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of managing and developing teams experience.
• 5+ years in a software security team or related environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Knowledge of web services security, cryptography, and network security protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Information security certifications (SANS GIAC, CISSP).
• Experience managing remote teams.
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.
